Insight/Incite

Insight/Incite presents the work of Fatherless, a long-running, collaborative print posse based in Rockford, Illinois. Showing nationally and internationally, they offer up a brand of Rust Belt Power Pop screen prints. This exhibition includes prints from the past decade with works responding to the social upheaval beginning in 2016.  Their socially conscious and exuberantly colorful works feature images sourced from high and low culture desiring to re-wire the viewer's associations to images such as the Kool-Aid Man and the statue of liberty. The collaborative process of passing the print from one artist to the next, each contributing potent images, results in challenging artwork with acerbic wit commenting on today's issues.

Due to current coronavirus concerns, there will be no opening reception.
Masks and social distancing are required.
